STAR WARS BOX SET #1 - VHS STYLE

Not ones to be detered from re-desigining things we don't like, we decided to redesign the Star Wars blu ray box set, as we were less than impressed with what the studio put out. Inspired by the original VHS sleeves, this box set was curated from original design elements, alongside designs that were posted to originaltrilogy.com, where we all share our artwork. Each disk had a series of inserts, mini posters, lobby cards, even something for the dads in a Leia gold bikini poster. Note: These were done just for fun, and just for ourselves.

STAR WARS BOX SET #2 - UK WIDESCREEN STYLE

Again going back to the roots of the Saga, this box set was designed to reflect the original widescreen VHS packaging in the UK. The inside sleeve designs lent themselves wonderfully to using the disk to complete the art. The main box sleeve uses the C-style poster and the ROTJ saber on the reverse. Note: These were done just for fun, and just for ourselves.

STAR WARS BOX SET #3 - LASER DISK STYLE

This was the tricky one. Reducing the original laser disk sleeves down to 5 x 5 inches. but we did it. There was no reference for the inner sleeves to work from, so we did what we thought might be appropriate with simple white sleeves and black overprint. For the disks themselves, we emulated the label from the center of the laserdisks. Note: These were done just for fun, and just for ourselves.
